Lunch, a short film, and an honest conversation about the questions that sit underneath a working week. No pressure, no judgement, no charge. Everyone is welcome, and it is not too late to join, each week stands on its own.
Most of us spend our days heads down, deadlines up, with little space to ask what any of it is for. Alpha is that space. Over seven lunchtimes we share a meal, watch a short film, and talk openly about life, faith, and meaning. You can say what you really think, ask what you have always wanted to ask, or simply listen. Come once to see what you make of it. If it is for you, come back the following Thursday.
No pressure. No judgement. No charge.Lunch is provided and it is free. Grab a plate, find a seat, and meet people you would never usually share a table with.
A short film, around twenty minutes, opens up one honest question about life and faith. Watch, and take from it what you will.
The best part. A relaxed conversation where every view is welcome. Say as much or as little as you like. Nobody is here to convince you.
Every session runs at lunchtime, from 12:15pm to 1:15pm at the Soul Legal offices, Level 2 Suite 2, 22 St Georges Terrace. Weeks one and two are behind us, and there are five to go. Each session stands on its own, so join whenever suits, with no commitment beyond a free lunch.
The day away is the part most people end up talking about afterwards. An hour at lunch is enough for a good conversation, but not a long one. So we take a Saturday, head up to the hills, and give the bigger questions the room they deserve. It is relaxed, there is a walk and a pub lunch with free time thereafter.
One lunch. One short film. One good conversation. Each week stands on its own, so this Thursday is a perfect place to start.
